Drywall (gypsum board) estimation involves total wall and ceiling area divided by sheet size, plus waste for cuts. A standard 4×8 ft sheet covers 32 sq ft. Most rooms use 5/8" drywall for ceilings and 1/2" for walls.
For every 100 sq ft of drywall, plan on 32 drywall screws and about 0.5 kg of joint compound. Add 10% waste for standard rooms.
